Simple and Reliable Solar Power Generation

Solar photo voltaic systems (Solar PV) capture the sun’s energy converting sunlight into electricity to use in your home or business. PV cells do not require direct sunlight to work proving electricity even on cloudy days. However the stronger the sunshine the more electricity is produced.

Prices for PV systems vary, depending on the size of the system to be installed, type of PV cells used and the situation regarding the building on which the PV is to be mounted. The size of the PV system is dictated by the amount of electricity required.





A 2.8kWp array can provide enough electricity to meet around half a households electricity needs (approx: 2,260kWh/year) and save over ½ tonne of carbon dioxide production per year.

Grid connected systems feed electricity into the national grid if your demand is less than that being produced by the PV System. Such systems require very little maintenance apart from ensuring that the panels remain clean and free from shade e.g. from trees.
